God took you to it, He’ll get you through it

The past month of my life has seriously been a trial.
To give you a taste of the events at hand:

1. About a month ago as a last resort to infections in my mouth due to bad teeth I had to have all my teeth removed .
2. Our two year old has been subjected to a bad urinary tract infection.

3. We got unexpectedly hit with an enormous amount of medical bills at the same time we took a loss of income.

4. My family and I have been continuously contracting one virus after another. In result of that I have been scrubbing bodily fluids off my children and carpeting for about a week now and there’s only so much fabreeze you can spray before that becomes as nauseating as the throw up smell.

5. Received a phone call from a stranger telling me they had received all of my personal info in the mail from my car loan company.

6. I woke up a few days ago with extreme numbness in my hand and arm that’s increasing day by day due to scoliosis.

7. We were told by a doctor that my son’s Intestine had swallowed itself, which may need surgery.

8. There was a stubborn acquaintance that I had been trying to bring to Jesus for 2 years now. This Sunday he was finally going to attend church. Yesterday that bridge was burned. And I felt as though I had lost that battle.

9. And to top it all off, I have put up with an amazing amount of ignorant comments and hardships this month and have finally had enough.

………………..I have a point for telling you this…………..

In result of these events I find myself sometimes feeling as though I’m drowning in chaos and as soon as I get my head up to breathe, I get pushed back down again. And at times I have prayed that God take this cup from me.

Mark 14:36
And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.

It’s so much at one time. However, I realize that I’m in a massive battle because God is doing major things in my life. And instead of running from battle, it’s better to suit up with the full armor of God and walk through it. I’m here because it’s God’s will that I be.
Ephesians 6:10-20 (King James Version)

The Whole Armor of God

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

11 Put on the whole armor of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15 and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

I trust in Jesus to get me through the muck and mire and move the mountains that stand in the way as swiftly and as quickly as possible, just as he has many times before. No matter how bad it looks, he always brings you to a better place.

Psalm 46:2
• Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

Isaiah 54:10
• For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee.

Matthew 21:21
• Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

Mark 11:23
• For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

It may be hard sometimes to recognize or understand what he’s doing. Sometimes it may look as though there’s no end in sight but keep the faith because there is an end. And with God the reward is always greater in the end.

Even when a situation arises that seems as though they it’s impossible to get through. Remember that God loves you. God is always there and he always gives you an out. He always makes a way. Whether it be Gods will that your there or if it’s Satan ambushing you…..with Jesus you’ll always win. Praise Jesus!!! Amen!

1 John 4:4
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

An example of this is Exodus 14

Exodus 14 records the story of how the Hebrews escaped from bondage and slavery in Egypt. On their way out of Egypt, they camped in the desert near the Red Sea. They thought God was leading them out of Egypt. However, Pharaoh led the Egyptian army to where the Israelites were, and he trapped them against the sea. The Israelites must have felt betrayed by God, for it looked as though he didn’t follow through on his plan to lead the Israelites out of captivity in Egypt. But God was faithful to his word — he didn’t let his people down. He led them through the Red Sea and delivered on his promises.

Using the Israelites’ story of deliverance from Egypt via the Red Sea, Robert Morgan writes of ten strategies for getting through difficult times. Just as the Israelites were trapped between the Egyptians and the Red Sea, sometimes we find ourselves trapped between that proverbial rock and a hard place. Morgan attempts to show that if you allow Him, the same God who led you in will lead you out.

Morgan devotes a chapter to each of the following “Red Sea Rules.”

■ Realize that God means for you to be where you are.God, in Exodus 14:1-2, gives Moses specific instructions of where they are to camp: “Now the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: ‘Speak to the children of Israel, that they turn and camp before Pi Hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, opposite Baal Zephon.”
When you are in a difficult situation, remember that the Lord placed or allowed you to be there.

■ Be more concerned for God’s glory than for your relief.
God told Moses “…Then I will gain honor over Pharaoh and over all his army, that the Egyptians may know that I am the Lord” (Exodus 14:3-4).
God can take an impossible situation and gain honor for Himself in the midst of our adverse situations – if we let Him.

■ Acknowledge your enemy, but keep your eyes on the Lord.
It would have done no good for the Israelites to ignore the fact that the Egyptians were pursuing them. Yet God made a way of deliverance. Satan can do us no lasting harm when we are enclosed by the grace of Christ.

■ Pray!
“When Pharaoh drew near, the children of Israel lifted their eyes and behold, the Egyptians marched after them. So they were very afraid, and the children of Israel cried out to the Lord” (Exodus 14:10). When you face impossible odds, our prayer-answering God will impart the grace needed.

■ Stay calm and confident, and give God time to work.
Moses told the Israelites to fear not, but stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. How many times are we faced with situations where we cannot solve the problem or heal the hurt? Yet, we must leave room and give God time to work.

■ When unsure, just take the next logical step by faith.
”The Lord said to Moses, ‘Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward” (Exodus 14:15). Trust God for guidance in small steps.

■ Envision God’s enveloping presence.
God will let us feel his comforting presence, just as He let the Israelites know of His care and presence through the angel of God and the pillar of cloud (Exodus 14:19-20).

■ Trust God to deliver in His own unique way.
Who would ever have thought God would have used an old man’s raising his rod over the obstructing sea to part the waters so that the Red Sea became a gateway to the Israelites and a graveyard for the Egyptians? God does not always view things as we do, and His methods of deliverance are often mysterious to us.

■ View your current crisis as a faith builder for the future.
“The Lord saved Israel that day…so the people feared the Lord and believed the Lord and His servant Moses” (Exodus 14:30-31).
Trials and troubles are the “treadmills” for the soul, developing strength and stamina.

■ Don’t forget to praise Him.
Moses and the Israelites sang a song of triumph to the Lord after their deliverance, exalting Him. We must not forget to be grateful for God’s deliverances because He truly is our strength and our song, and He has become our salvation (Exodus 15:1-2).

On a personal level

The Red Sea rules have given me hope and great insight on how to better stand steadfast in difficult times. However, the greatest weapons we have are our Father, Son and Holy Ghost and the Bible themselves. Amen!

Now let’s get back to that wonderful list I first post in the beginning of the blog.
Every one of these situations represents a little mountain, some bigger than others in my eyes.
With much pray and the mercy and love of Jesus Christ many of them have been removed and blessings have come out of what looked bad.
I’m asking God in prayer believing for all of them to be removed.
I know that these things will pass.

1 Samuel 2:7 The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up.

Due to the grace of God blessings have come from these difficulties and most of all I’ve grown in him through each one. And even though there are still some of these that may appear as though they are not yet solved…..they are because I stand on the word of our sweet savior and he says……………………

Matthew 21:22

And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
And Praise the Lord, I have asked!

Isaiah 58:9…..Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. …………………… because he’s loving and merciful he has answered me.

Jesus gave me multiple blessings out of difficulty

About a month ago as a last resort to infections in my mouth due to bad teeth I had to have all my teeth removed. ……….

1. The same week I could not eat solids anymore Jesus gave me dentures! By the grace of God my insurance covered me be put to sleep during my procedure.
All the poison is out of my body now and I’m healing more and more every day.
3. As if that wasn’t a blessing enough in itself…..the sweet Lord also gave me a wonderful husband who pampered me on my down-time.
4. A family member who not only watched my children for me afterwards so I could rest…… also picked up half the bill.
5. And my mom and sister who came to my home with a huge box of food and a blender so I didn’t die of starvation and helped with the kids.

2. Our two year old had a Urinary tract infection which caused us to be at the doctor’s alot.
 I know and believe that this event was a tool that God used in order to get my husband to come closer to him.
 Through this ordeal, my husband and I grew stronger together.
 By the grace of God she’s covered under insurance and we did not have to spend a dime.
 Praise Jesus she’s holding

3. We got unexpectedly hit with an enormous amount of medical bills at the same time we took a loss of income.
 The same week we got this news my husband was informed at work that he’d be needed for a lot of overtime.

4. My family and I have been continuously contracting one virus after another. In result of that I have been scrubbing bodily fluids off my children and carpeting for about a week now and there’s only so much fabreeze you can spray before that becomes as nauseating as the throw up smell.
 Us being ill was also a blessing. I’m normally a “hurry up-let’s get this done person.” During these few weeks God showed me I need to slow down alittle. And as a result what came out of that was alot of much needed family time.

5. Received a phone call from a stranger telling me they had received all of my personal info in the mail from my car loan company.
 Praise the Lord that the woman who had received all my personal information is a believer in Christ and has also had her personal info misused…..so she called me and mailed it to me.

6. I woke up a few days ago with extreme numbness in my hand and arm that’s increasing day by day due to scoliosis.
 I’m not sure what great blessing will come out of this yet….but I praise Jesus for it anyway. You have to praise him through the good and the bad. In the meantime…..the back rubs from the husband are a plus.

7. We were told by a doctor that my son’s Intestine had swallowed itself, which may need surgery.
 This one’s a divine Miracle- The first x-rays taken at our doctor’s office definitely show that there is undeniably a huge problem with the intestines. They sent us directly to the emergency room……….The doctors here looked at the x-rays that were taken at our docs office and agreed that yes there is a problem. They decided to take more x-rays, and PRAISE our SWEET LORD JESUS……..THERE WAS NOTHING THERE!!!!!!!! They took 2 more and still could not find anything. I praise Jesus for sparing my son from that pain and torture. Amen!!!

8. There was a stubborn acquaintance that I had been trying to bring to Jesus for 2 years now.
This Sunday he was finally going to attend church. Yesterday that bridge was burned. And I felt as though I had lost that battle.
 The blessing here is….I said all I could say to this person for Jesus and I believe God closed the door for a reason.

9. And to top it all off, I have put up with an amazing amount of ignorant comments and hardships this month and have finally had enough. (Don’t us all).
 The good Lord is helping to just not care as much about ill spoken words.

I want my main focus in life to be on Jesus and I have asked him to help grow me up in him stronger and quicker every day……and these events have absolutely drawn me closer. Praise Jesus! And as he was bringing me closer to him……..he also unwrapped a new appreciation and deeper love for him and my family………And while he was doing all of that….he’s been continually leading us by his right hand and dividing the waters for us to keep walking!!!
Psalm 136:12-17
12 With a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm: for his mercy endureth for ever.
13 To him which divided the Red sea into parts: for his mercy endureth for ever:
14 And made Israel to pass through the midst of it: for his mercy endureth for ever:
15 But overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red sea: for his mercy endureth for ever.
16 To him which led his people through the wilderness: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Can I say PRAISE THE FATHER, PRAISE THE SON AND PRAISE THE HOLY GHOST!!!! AMEN!!!
We have a wonderful merciful God…………..I Love Him!!!!

Take Christ as your Saviour today……………When we pray the prayer of salvation, we’re admitting that we’ve sinned. As the Bible says of everyone……………………………………………………………………………………………….
“For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)……………
God’s Plan ~ Jesus said, “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (that it might be full and meaningful) (John 10:10)

The Bible tells us “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9 ) that your eternal salvation is secure.
What you need to do——————————————————————————–
1. Admit your need (I am a sinner).
2. Be willing to turn from your sin (repent).
3. Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross.
4. Through prayer, invite Jesus to come in and control your heart and life (receive Him as Saviour and Lord).
Suggested Prayer:
“Dear Heavenly Father, I know I am a sinner and need your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus died for my sin. I’ am willing to turn from sin. I now ask Jesus Christ to come in my heart and life as my personal Saviour. I am willing, by God’s grace, to follow and obey Christ as the Lord of my heart and life.’
PRAISE JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
